My Ipod Locked Up
posted by Rory Wilfong in Business Life, Entertainment |
Whenever your Ipod locks up(freezes) hold the center button and the menu button down at the same time until it resets.
note… this is for the ipod nano… not sure about the others.

I believe this is specific to the ipod nano
hey you guys put some good info, i got my nano back and i will now backup all my music, just in case if you know what i mean.
thank you.
worked on my 30g vid. Used to have to let it sit until completely drained (LONG time), then plug back into my computer for a new, complete charge. Very frustrating, Apple fails to mention this trick in any Ipod references, wonder why. COMPLETELY solved my problem here. Thanks.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! My iPod froze up about 2 hours ago and now it’s working!!!
THANK YOU! This worked for my 40 gig photo. I was freaking out because it was working fine and then it just froze.
Thanks!! My ipod has been locked up for 2 days. I searched the ipod help and everything at apple.com. And of course I wasn’t able to find anything about an ipod locking up. Thanks for the great help that apple wouldn’t give!

30 gb ipod has locked up while connected to computer with a do not disconnect screen. Itunes says it is safe to disconnect and i did and now its not responding to anything. not even the holding menu and center button for ten seconds or so. any ideas?
